Linda Urso practices in the areas of probate, trusts and estates; real estate; contracts and business law. For over thirty-five years, Ms. Urso has practiced law with a positive attitude and attention to detail unmatched by most and has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor on matters of utmost importance to her clients.

Her probate practice includes assisting clients with estate planning. She is uniquely suited to address a variety of questions and concerns and assist her clients in planning for their futures. Her clients report that her knowledge, experience and demeanor allow them to comfortably discuss and plan important matters such as wills, trusts, guardianship matters, powers of attorney and durable health care powers of attorney.

Ms. Urso has served as the Probate Judge for the Town of Westerly for seventeen years; and the Probate Judge for the Town of Hopkinton for thirteen two-year terms. She is also a member of the Rhode Island General Assembly Legislative Commission to Study the Feasibility of Modernizing Probate Law and Procedure.

Ms. Urso has been a title insurance agent for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company for twenty-eight years. In the past she served as Assistant Legal Counsel for the Rhode Island Department of Transportation where she supervised a team of title examiners in performing hundreds of title examinations throughout the State of Rhode Island in conjunction with an extensive land acquisition program for road improvements.

She served as Assistant Town Solicitor for the Town of Hopkinton from 1990-1996; and as Interim Town Manager for the Town of Hopkinton in 2006 and 2009.

Ms. Urso is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts; the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island; The U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

She is 1977 magna cum laude graduate of Boston College, and earned her Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School in 1980.
